Catalog Functionality
- Courses are conveniently organized into categories allowing learners to easily navigate to find their preferred topics and programs. The catalog is further enhanced with extensive author/provider information, detailed course overviews, CE Credit information, related courses and products.
Overview
- All courses, tests and products include a descriptive overview, which may include expected learning outcomes, suggested audience, pricing, duration, CE Credit information and language.
Cost and Duration
- Every course, test or product is priced based on length, complexity and additional services/accreditations. Once a course has been paid for, you can retake it as often as you like (usually for 1 year) through your Learner Home Page! Courses will vary in duration, depending on the nature of the content with most in the 3 to 15 hour range. Tests and other products may be offered with re-take and scoring limitations.
Accreditation Information
- Many of the courses or tests qualify for continuing education credits from accreditation bodies all over North America. The overview highlights all CE Credit Information.
Faculty/Organization Information
- Courses include detailed information on the course author and/or the organization that is responsible for the content.
Contacting Faculty/Organization
- All courses developed by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® include a “Help Page” by which learners can communicate with the course instructor via e-mail. Instructors will respond to the e-mail within 1 business day. The “Help” button appears in the top right-hand navigation bar in the course.
Discussion Forums
- Further expand your knowledge and enhance your learning experience by participating along with others in our course-specific discussion forums.
Registration is Simple and Secure
- New learners simply need to register (only once!) before purchasing a course. You can change your personal information anytime in the “Learner Profile” section of the portal. We protect learner privacy by not distributing personal data or storing credit card information.
Taking A Course
- Courses are designed in a variety of innovative delivery formats.
- A traditional format usually includes interactive support slides accompanied by audio, images, quizzes and complemented by some/all of these resources: "Business Plan"; "Journal"; "Glossary"; "Resources"; and "Discussion Forum".
- Some courses are designed in animated learning environments but also normally with audio, images, quizzes and complemented by some/all of these resources: "Business Plan"; "Journal"; "Glossary"; "Resources"; and "Discussion Forum".
- Let the "Technology You Need" tool analyze your computer to advise you whether it complies with minimum requirements necessary for viewing courses.
- Minimum system requirements are:
- Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Apple Safari, Opera or FireFox)
- 56K modem internet connection (High Speed recommended)
- Speakers (audio transcript usually available for those who don’t have audio)
- Adobe Flash version 8 (version 9 recommended)
- Adobe PDF Reader and Microsoft Word for viewing resource documents

Payment is simple, fast and secure:
- Use your credit card to pay as you go
- The ‘Preview' feature allows all learners to access the first module of every course at no cost. Only after the first module has been previewed, will you be asked to exit and make payment, or try another course. We encourage you to try any course, any time, 100% risk free!
Tracking and Reporting
- Personal transcripts or "Report Cards" are available online for each learner to track and submit their education to academic institutions, licensing bodies, current and prospective employers, and associations. This personal management system allows you to:
- Track progress... As each course is completed, continuing education credits are automatically added to your "report card".
- Seamlessly re-enter the course(s) you are currently registered for and continue from where you left off. If you were unable to complete a course in one sitting, the system automatically 'remembers' where you left off.
- You can even add 3rd party education activities such as classroom courses to the "report card" to consolidate all of your education tracking and reporting into one digital report card!
- Diploma, certificate, and NAR Designation courses are also being developed in partnership with established academic and training institutions.
